Well we just had another rush trip to Perth for the weekend. But this time we decided to take a bit more time off. So we left Kalgoorlie Thursday afternoon, arriving in Mandurah around 8pm - totally exhausted after the very long drive!
Friday morning we had a few odd jobs to do before catching up with Bec for breakfast at Dome Cafe. She is doing very well and is now 23 weeks pregnant :) Unfortunately we couldn't spend much time with her as she & Shaun were heading out of town for a wedding.
Our youngest Daughter Teigan & her partner Aaron were heading back to town after spending 7 days in Dunsborough for Teigz 21st! So we had lunch with them at our favourite restaurant in town - Hogsbreath Cafe:
Then it was time to leave Mandurah & head up to Forrestfield in Perth where we had arranged to catch up with our good friends Rob & Marg.
We had a lovely afternoon/evening catching up over quite a few bundy's :) Also our friends from Kalgoorlie Cheryl & Tony arrived about 7pm to join in.
Saturday it was time to head off to the Caravan & Camping Show, Dave, Rob, Tony, Cheryl & Myself - Marg decided to have retail therapy at a shopping mall instead!
We spent the whole day there and had a great time even collecting a few bargains :)
Dave & I also helped out on the Spinifex Caravan Site for a few hours - which by the way went extremely well. Steve (the Owner) & Crossy had already sold the van they brought over & had a few sign up for new ones! I'm sure Dave & I helped a few more decide :)
Then it was back to the Caravan Park as we were all going out for dinner.
As it was St Patricks Day - the tavern was packed & it was Karaoke night so plenty of entertainment!

Unfortunately the next day we had to head back to Kalgoorlie, but not before Marg & Rob cooked us up a wonderful breakfast:

We had the best weekend, thanks to our great friends Rob & Marg & Cheryl & Tony
Cheers guys!
The weather was even perfect, until we got back to Kalgoorlie- 17 degrees & pouring rain! We are getting the tail end of the cyclone! but atleast we haven't got the wind.
Cheers everyone,
Dave & Shell
