Our 4 days in Fort Worth Texas

Hi Everyone,

Our Drive to Fort Worth was pretty easy but not much to see;

Thought this was cute though!

Texas Oil Fields
And lots of open roads!
We settled into our motel for the night & the next day headed off to The Stockyards Station, it is a little "Cowboy Town" & was a lot of fun.

We had a really fun day.
We came back that night for Dinner & the Rodeo. After Dinner
Dave got a Tattoo in honour of our Grand Daughter - Ruby:

Pretty Cool - Tatt in Texas!

Then onto the Rodeo

The Kids Games

The Cowboys!

Calf Roping

The Clowns

& of course the Bull Riding

It was a great end to a very full day.
The next day we went to the sports store Cabela's - yes they have stuffed animals too! So here are a few;

We finished off the day with a lovely dinner with Margarita"s:

For our last day in Texas we decided to drive to Arlingon & checkout the Dallas Cowboys Stadium,
Which is the largest Dome in the world!
It is Massive & well worth the visit - It only cost us $27.50ea for a fully guided 1 1/2 tour!

That was our busy 4 days in Fort Worth, it is a great place.
Now as our time in the U.S. is coming to an end we are making our way back to Denver, we will spend a few days in Colorado Springs first.
Cheers Dave & Shell

On a Foot Note:
 We witnessed a terrible car accident while in Fort Worth, at a Shopping Mall carpark. 5 people injured & a 7 yr old little girl was killed. The car ended up mounting 2 cars in the next row to us.
Our thoughts & prayers go out to all involved, we were quite shook up by it as well. Life is so precious & everything can change in a split second.
So to all our friends & family, please take care & live life to the fullest. xx
