Our 4th July Weekend in Denver

Hi Everyone,
We had a very good weekend with Jas and Jo. Jas had been back to Australia on business and arrived the same day we did. He had been gone for 2 weeks so his kids were very happy to see him:

 


The next morning saturday, Jas, Jacob and Dave headed off to Wyoming to get some fireworks - they certainly got a good supply:


Jas and Dave were as excited as Jacob!

On Sunday Jacob wanted to take us to his favourite place for lunch - Dave and Busters. It is like a Casino for kids! Every game imaginable, when you win you get coupons that can be redeemed for prizes.

 We were all invited to a 4th July fireworks Party by some friends of Jas and Jo. It was dessert & fireworks so Jo spent the morning making some very nice desserts:

We also had to have some drinks to go with the fireworks - hows this for a supply:

No - we didn't drink it all!





Then it was time to get ready for the party:

Isabelle made sure we didn't forget the important stuff!

As you can see we went all out!

It was a very good night.
On Tuesday we said our final goodbyes to Jas, Jo and kids as they are going to be on holidays when we return to Denver at the end of the month.
Now we are on our final leg of our trip. We are driving through Oklahoma, Arkansas,Tennessee,Memphis Etc. We will keep you updated as we go.
